By Naledi Chuwe: Twenty-six-year old plus size blogger and model, Lesego ‘Thickleeyonce’ Legobane, is maximising her brand. The digital influencer and photographer has added ‘fashion store owner’ to her list of occupations by opening her first official physical clothing store!
Her online plus size fashion range titled Leebex, co-owned by friend Rebecca Garande, has had prosperous years of business since 2016. The clothing line dedicated only to women of a particular size (34-58) is aimed to create fashion forward and on-trend clothing at affordable prices. The inclusivity of women with curves is prioritised and offers clothing items that unveil your sexy, confident and fabulous side.
Thickleeyonce celebrated this milestone with a store launching party. Small local businesses were embraced as pink and blue craft gin was the drink on offer. Family and friends gathered closely to reminiscence about her journey and displayed their support by purchasing armfuls!
This body positivity activist encouraging women of bigger sizes to gain self-acceptance and self-love has made that process slightly easier by providing fashion that numerous stores exclude.. Leebex could possibly be the next Beyonce for the plus size!
