BROWS frame the eyes. And for some of us, more is more and bigger is better. Mismatched hair colour and bold eyebrows used to be a major faux pas, but now, with bold brows trending on the runway and the red carpet, blondes with dark brows seem to be everywhere. From Cara Delevingne to Rita Ora and Sienna Miller.
One advantage of pairing darker brows with light hair is that because eyebrows help define your features, fair-haired and blonde-browed ladies can look washed out without make-up, but a defined brow can give the face a focal point, making mascara and liner optional. The next question is: can anyone go blonde? If you’re dying to go light, go for it! Everyone should try it once. However, the darker your natural hair colour, the harder it will be to bleach it to blonde. The same goes for skin tone, if you are fair you can go white blonde without a hitch! But a richer blonde can look beautiful on women with darker skin tones. Another factor to consider is the current state of your hair. Bleaching hair can be a damaging process – the texture of it will permanently change until your natural grows out. Speak to a professional to make you feel more comfortable to take the plunge. It is a lot of maintenance to be blonde, but it is definitely a head turner.
